Obedience Classes

Obedience classes are a 6-week course. Each class is one hour long.

There are NO classes currently booked or running, as we wait for our new facility to be erected. Please stay tuned for any upcoming sessions starting in the future.

 

Level ONE OBEDIENCE

  • Focuses on the basics

  • Learn a solid Sit, Down, Stay, and Come

  • Refining the Heel command

    • Working through issues like jumping up and the “off” command

Level TWO OBEDIENCE

  • Loose to off leash heeling

  • Hand signals and distance training

  • Down/sit stay with handler out of sight

  • Creating real world scenarios by adding distractions into the training


Level THREE OBEDIENCE

  • Incorporating Pull tabs and Longlines

  • Focus on off leash obedience training

  • Hand signals at a distance

  • Intense “come” exercises with distractions

  • Drop on Recall – and other hand signal exercises with dog in stationary and moving positions
